The Story of Sweet as MBA look into the past…
Baking has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. It all started when I was just a kid, standing on a stool my dad made, next to my mom in the kitchen, mixing bowls of cookie dough from family recipes, licking the beaters and sneaking bites when she wasn’t looking. Every Christmas, the tradition would grow as my mom, sisters, and I baked thousands of cookies for family and friends. Those moments, filled with laughter, love, (maybe a few fights) and lots of butter, were where my love for baking truly took root.
I loved those moments—the family recipes, the excitement of pulling a fresh tray out of the oven, and especially the joy that followed when we shared our creations. It wasn’t just about the cookies; it was about the smiles they brought, the connections they fostered, and the memories we created.
Even as I grew older, pursued a career, and started my own family, baking remained my constant. Whether it was for a family gathering or just a cozy evening at home, I always found myself in the kitchen, creating treats that brought people joy. My favourite? A classic peanut butter cookie—simple, nostalgic, and always a hit.
Sweet as MB was born
Eventually, I realized that baking wasn’t just something I did; it was who I was. So, I decided to take the leap and turn my passion into something bigger. That’s when Sweet as MB was born. The name came from a play on words—“sweet as can be”—and the fact that everyone’s always called me MB. It felt like the perfect fit for a business. Baking has always been about more than just cookies. It’s about sharing a little bit of love and sweetness with the people around me.
Now, I get to bake full-time, doing what I love, with the same care and creativity that started in my mom’s kitchen all those years ago.
Every cookie I make comes from a place of love, just like it always has, and
I couldn’t be happier to share that with others through Sweet as MB.

You don’t have to share if you don’t want to! Our products contain no preservatives. They are best consumed within 3 days or stored in an airtight container or freezer bag for up to 3 months.

Air fryer lovers can warm their cookies up at 300F for 2 minutes. Enjoy!
